Netmarble has introduced the new hero 'Derieri' to its open-world action RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

Derieri hails from the 'Ten Commandments', the most formidable combat unit of the Demon Clan in the original manga. This marks the very first time a hero from the Ten Commandments has made their way into The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

Derieri wields gauntlets, greatswords, and axes, each enabling a distinct combat style. The hero utilizes a combo mechanism that amplifies damage against enemies affected by the 'Duel' effect, and once the maximum stack is reached, Derieri can unleash an ultimate skill without consuming any magic. Furthermore, Derieri provides support abilities that bolster the combat prowess of Fire-attribute allies. A Derieri pickup summon event is live, alongside a new hero trial event running until the 26th.

A new event story titled 'Reunion in Chaos' has also been unveiled. Set in the aftermath of the Holy War, the narrative follows the Ten Commandments as they reappear, sparking tension among various factions. Completing the story rewards players with Star Fragments, enhancement stones, weapons, and gold.

Starting from the 12th, a new quest line will recreate the first episode of the anime and manga, 'The Beginning of the Adventure'. You can personally play through the iconic first meeting between Meliodas and Elizabeth, as well as the battle against the Holy Knight Twigo.

Additionally, from August 12th to 26th, the new event content 'Chaos Biting the Desert' will be available. In this cooperative raid, up to 15 players can join forces to take on the boss 'Calvash', earning various growth resources through event missions and the exchange shop. A 0.5-anniversary pre-event login campaign is also underway, offering hero draw tickets and premium growth materials.
