Pearl Abyss has rolled out the 'Edania Part 2' update for Black Desert on the 12th. This update expands the demon realm of Edania, first unveiled last August, and introduces the inner regions of Edania—home to gods such as Agris, Maktanan, and Elion—to adventurers. This provides a cohesive experience that ties together the world-building and narrative of Black Desert, allowing adventurers to test their mettle against formidable divine powers and embark on new adventures.

The Edania Part 2 update adds six new hunting grounds to the inner regions of Edania. These include the Afrodone Temple in the domain of Agris, the Emesia Inner Castle of Maktanan, the Magaia Temple of Elion, the Aresion Temple of Aal, the Scales of Judgment of Elion, and the Event Horizon of Hadum. Among these, the Scales of Judgment of Elion is the only three-player party hunting ground. Adventurers can obtain items such as the Wandering Origin Crystal, Inix’s Spark (for gloves, shoes, and armor), and Aperon Earrings from these hunting grounds.

New accessories, 'Ekreta' and 'Aperon', have also been introduced. Ekreta accessories can be obtained by converting Karazad accessories at the IX or X stages and can be enhanced using Shards of Causality. Aperon accessories can be obtained as loot from hunting grounds or purchased via the Central Market, and can be enhanced using the same type of accessory. Additionally, four Edania inner bosses—Agris, Maktanan, Elion, and Aal—have been added to the boss subjugation content. By completing weekly quests, players can receive the 'Proof of Edana Challenge' to challenge the 'Throne of Edana'. Adventurers who become the Edana are granted tax rewards and a crown.

Along with this, a new outfit, 'Destroyer of Gods', has been added. Players can obtain this outfit by accepting a quest at 'Ancient Foresight', a cave near the Shining Land, and collecting 100 each of Inix’s Spark for the helmet, armor, gloves, and shoes. The new magic crystal, 'Wandering Origin Crystal', can be crafted by gathering materials such as Origin Fragments within Edania. New items like Magihan’s Relic, Perfume of Verdure, and Elixir of Blue Mist have also been added. New production nodes have been established within Edania, allowing players to produce desired resources such as Caphras Tree Sap and Marble Ore.

While exploring the inner regions of Edania, adventurers can discover the 'Legacy of Tachyon' and, upon passing the trials, obtain 'Agris’s Gold Coins'. These gold coins can be exchanged for Cron Stones, Nev’s Fragments, Advice of Valks (+250), and Abyssal Dusk (earrings, rings). This 'Edania Part 2' content was revealed at the 'Heidel Ball' held last July, and Pearl Abyss plans to release a new main questline along with Hadum bosses in September.
