The Midsummer Forest event dungeon is accessible via [Menu]-[Dungeon]-[Event Dungeon]-[Midsummer Forest]. Any character level 45 or higher can enter for 5 minutes daily, with the timer resetting at 7:00 AM every morning. Crucially, the time limit is per-character; if you have multiple squad characters over level 45, you can use the 5 minutes on each, much like the Tower of Time or Ancient Treasure Vault.

The Midsummer Forest dungeon is a top-tier hunting ground, comparable to the previous Lindel Island hunting event, featuring a vast map where mobs respawn at a frantic pace. While you won't earn 'Nine' or standard experience points here, the loot is substantial: plenty of EXP Pouches (Event), Equipment Enhancement Scrolls (Event), and the highly useful Watermelon Punch (Event) which provides a strong buff.

Once you enter, do not forget to activate the exclusive 'Icicle' buff skill using the [Z] hotkey. This grants you a 30% chance to trigger a powerful area-of-effect attack with every strike. It makes clearing mobs significantly faster, so make sure it's active the moment you spawn in.

The dungeon features special monsters: the Watermelon Barrel and the Golden Watermelon Barrel. Defeating them yields Watermelon Barrel Spirit Card Fragments (Event) and Golden Watermelon Barrel Spirit Card Fragments (Event), respectively. Keep in mind that the Golden Watermelon Barrel is rare and spawns sparingly. If crafting that specific spirit is your priority, you will need to actively hunt for it.

However, the 5-minute time limit is a bit of a nuisance. Also, the drop rate for the Golden Watermelon Barrel Spirit Card Fragment is quite low, even after you manage to hunt the target. The event runs until the regular maintenance on the 26th, giving you about two weeks. Rather than stressing over the golden spirit immediately, it might be more efficient to focus on clearing standard mobs to stock up on Watermelon Punch, EXP pouches, and enhancement scrolls.

If you are desperate for the Golden Watermelon Barrel spirit, have your main character focus on clearing mobs for the useful consumables, and use your lower-level squad characters to hunt for the golden barrels. Since you can move the fragments to the warehouse, just consolidate them on one character to finish the crafting.

The Watermelon Punch is a stellar consumable that provides Max HP +100, Max MP +100, PvE Damage +1, PvE Accuracy +1, and PvE Physical Defense +1 for 10 minutes.
