Nexon announced on August 13 that the second wave of its summer campaign, RE:ACTION, is now live. This update focuses on expanding progression content and quality-of-life improvements, while providing a summer growth boost through the Black Combo Card event.

The maximum level for Arcana Awakening has been increased from 30 to 50. Once players reach Arcana rank 10 and complete the guide quest, the awakening feature unlocks. Reaching level 31 grants access to unique Arcana awakening skills, which deal massive area-of-effect damage, guarantee 100% critical hits, and provide damage immunity during casting.

Each Arcana also gains one new 'Ogeom Word' combination effect. Just like in the first update, slotting in three required Ogeom Words triggers these effects. The higher the grade of the Ogeom Words used, the more powerful the result, allowing for even more varied combat styles.

Furthermore, Nexon has introduced the Erg Gold growth system, streamlining the progression grind. Players can now fill the experience bar or unlock level caps using specified amounts of gold instead of burning through rare materials.

Meanwhile, the Black Combo Card event is running until October 1 before maintenance. During this window, players get one extra free reset every week from 7:00 AM on Friday to 6:59 AM on Monday. Regular gold resets have been boosted from two to five, and special resets from one to three.

A new item, the Black Combo Card Multiplier Enhancement Ticket, also makes its debut. This item offers a guaranteed 1% boost to slot values, and players can earn them by completing 20 daily special missions.
