Activision has released a new multiplayer trailer for its upcoming FPS, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The video features 'The Devil Is a Lie' by Rick Ross as its background music.

The multiplayer mode in Modern Warfare 4 is built upon a refined shooting experience. Upon launch, players can enjoy 12 new 6v6 maps reflecting various global locales, as well as large-scale Ground War modes featuring a mix of infantry and vehicular combat. Additionally, the 'Kill Block' mode introduces dynamic terrain, movement paths, and cover that change every round. This mode generates over 500 map configurations in real-time, forcing players to adapt their tactics instantly.

Notably, Modern Warfare 4 highlights locations and items with South Korean characteristics. The footage shows a squad infiltrating a convenience store to clear out hostiles, during which iconic gear such as the K2 rifle and police shields are displayed. The trailer also showcases diverse combat scenarios, including an attack helicopter strafing a market and the tactical use of explosives on a moving train.

Meanwhile, the 'Call of Duty: NEXT' broadcast, which provides detailed information on the game, will air on August 21 at 9:00 AM (US time). Early access for pre-order customers on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC will run from 11:00 AM on the same day until August 25 at 10:00 AM, with pre-loading available starting August 20 at 9:00 AM. An open beta, available to all players including those on Nintendo Switch 2, is scheduled to run from August 28 at 10:00 AM to September 1 at 10:00 AM.
