Look, let's be honest about spreading hope to future generations. Smilegate's Hope Studio announced on August 23 that it participated in the 3rd Korea Social Value Festa to highlight the innovativeness of its donation platform and explore collaboration opportunities.

Hope Studio participated in the Korea Social Value Festa held at COEX in Seoul from August 21 to 22. Hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event served as a venue for the government, corporations, and civil society to share the definition of social value and explore practical methods. In recognition of its 'gamification of donation', Hope Studio set up a special booth in the 'Innovation & Environment' zone alongside companies applying innovative technology to solve social issues, such as SK hynix and Korea East-West Power. Hope Studio participated in this event to introduce its donation platform embodying the philosophy of 'PLAY for GOOD' and to expand collaboration opportunities with various entities, including corporations and non-profit organizations.

At the event, Hope Studio operated the 'Smile Donation Arcade' booth and showcased two social games. These games utilized Mokoko, a character IP from the MMORPG Lost Ark, featuring 'Everyone's Harvest', which deals with the issue of hunger, and 'Again, the Sea', themed around environmental conservation. Through in-game missions, visitors virtually participated in solving social issues by harvesting 65,658 meals' worth of fruit in 'Everyone's Harvest' and collecting 9,766 kilograms of marine debris in 'Again, the Sea'. The booth also featured participatory programs for visitors, such as a prize-drawing event.

In connection with this event, Hope Studio is running the donation campaign 'FUNding: Creating a Better World Through Joyful Participation' until September 16. The raised donations will be used entirely to support digital devices for vulnerable children and adolescents in population-declining and remote island-mountainous regions.
