WemadePlay announced on August 2 that it has completed the audit for ISO27001, an international certification in the field of information security, through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This certification is a renewal obtained through a follow-up audit since the company first acquired ISO27001 in 2020, marking its seventh consecutive year of certification.

The latest certification includes external validation of WemadePlay's continuous prevention and response efforts against domestic and international risk factors, as well as newly introduced policies and systems. Since late last year, WemadePlay has configured a zero trust model centered around the motto of 'verification without exceptions' to fit its own environment, strengthening security policies and expanding the application of related solutions.

Through this audit, the company was evaluated as having met global standards and elevated its security capabilities across policies, personal and public equipment, and overall solution operations. Notably, following the Information Security Management System (ISMS) domestic official certification completed in April, WemadePlay has now secured the ISO27001 certification as well.

WemadePlay Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Kim Sung-hoon stated, "This certification is the result of members applying new security policies to their respective tasks and company life, making them a daily routine." CTO Kim Sung-hoon added, "In line with the development and service stance of expanding beyond the domestic market into overseas markets, we will continuously provide security services of global standards."

WemadePlay has completed both domestic and international official information security audits and certifications such as ISMS and ISO27001 this year, and is preparing to expand the security policies of its service platforms to strengthen personal information protection in the second half.
