Look, let us be honest: a brand new title has arrived where up to 30 players must escape from a labyrinth consisting of a staggering one million rooms.

Japanese developer PushForward launched the Steam page for the new room escape game 'MillionCube' on August 10. MillionCube is a game about exploring countless interconnected rooms to find a single exit. Each room is connected by multiple doors, and players must use the numbers, letters, and indoor scenery marked on the doors as clues to move through rooms and deduce the location of the exit.

As you get closer to the exit, the surrounding environment reveals hints hinting at it. This includes clues to estimate the distance to the destination, and visual effects on the screen gradually change as you approach the exit.

The game features four types of mazes with different scales and backgrounds. They consist of 1,000, 17,576, 373,248, and 1 million rooms respectively, and themes vary depending on the scale, such as backrooms, aquariums, cyberpunk, and infinite corridors.

MillionCube supports single-player, but you can also enjoy it in multiplayer where 30 players participate to divide up areas to investigate or compete for exit arrival times. In particular, multiplayer offers a different kind of fun with various items appearing, such as teleporting to another player's location or checking who is closest to the exit.

MillionCube is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) in October, with official support for Korean. Best of luck finding that exit, mate.
