MOOD Publishing has launched a crowdfunding campaign for 'Satisfactory: The Board Game', a tabletop adaptation of the factory-building simulation video game 'Satisfactory'. Designed for one to four players who manage factories, produce resources, and attempt to build a space elevator, the title reimagines the original work's production facility setup and automation systems into a tabletop format.

Players step into the boots of pioneers exploring an unknown planet and expanding their production facilities. Starting from installing miners for resource extraction, players build processing equipment and utilize the produced materials to develop higher-tier facilities. As the production scale grows, power consumption increases, making the management of the power balance between power plants and production equipment crucial.

Alongside a competitive mode where players vie for high scores, the game also offers a cooperative mode and a solo mode. In the competitive mode, all participants contribute to building the space elevator while earning points based on individual objectives and production achievements. Ahead of the official product release, the creators have released a preview version allowing players to experience parts of the content via Tabletop Simulator, along with a rulebook under development.

The funding campaign kicked off on Gamefound on October 13, instantly surpassing its target goal of €25,000 (approximately KRW 37.5 million) and surging past €900,000 as of October 14, achieving over 3,600% of its target. The base edition is priced at €70, the deluxe edition at €135, and the collector's edition at €280, with shipping costs separate. Backing is open until November 11 at midnight KST, with the English edition slated for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2027 and other language editions aiming for the first quarter of 2028. Currently, no plans for a Korean edition have been announced.
