Vampir is currently preparing improvements for 'VCC and Class Balance'!

Look, let's be honest, Vampir hosted a developer livestream titled Developer Live: Night Talk via its official YouTube channel on October 20. This broadcast is packed with solid details. Drawing from the data gathered during the previous VCC Clan Championship, the team outlined how they plan to refine the tournament rules moving forward. Furthermore, they laid out the update roadmap for the remainder of the fourth quarter of 2026 and explained various content improvements. You can check out the latest news for Vampir delivered straight through the developer livestream below.
Announcing plans to improve the next VCC Clan Championship

The first topic of this Vampir developer livestream is the VCC Clan Championship. It is a competitive mode where clans representing each server gather to battle it out. After announcing the winners for each region, the team reflected on what felt a bit lacking. In particular, they revealed that they received a mountain of feedback regarding server and environment disparities, the tournament format, and its structure. As a response, future clan championships will be run using a completely new method. The goal is to transform it from a playground exclusively for top-tier clans into a proper festival that a broader range of users and clans can actually enjoy.
The biggest shake-up is the league division. The competition will run on a two-track system featuring the existing VCC league alongside a new challenger league, VCL. They will select 144 clans based on clan combat power, and the top 64 among them will duke it out in a tournament. From there, the 16 victorious clans will advance to the main stage to crown the ultimate winner. On top of that, the 48 clans that unfortunately stumble in the Round of 64 and Round of 32 will be distributed evenly across VCL Leagues 1 through 3, with 16 clans assigned to each. Best of luck chasing that league victory.Clans ranked 65th to 144th in combat power will be placed into appropriate tiers starting from VCL 4. It looks like everyone will need to put some serious work into boosting their clan's strength ahead of the upcoming tournament.
The October update roadmap brings equipment recovery tickets

Next up on the agenda is the year-end update roadmap. First, let us talk about the October update news. For the South Korea and Global 1 regions, the update introduces the Hall of Grace boss zone, dubbed the Forbidden Zone of Grace. The main objective here is to take down the 3-star boss Elgard, a feature previously teased in the third-week developer notes for October. To ensure more users walk away with rewards, a fresh set of rules comes into play: based on the boss's HP milestones at 75%, 50%, 25%, and the final defeat, the clan that lands the last hit at each of those four intervals secures the loot. Moreover, the members of the server belonging to the clan that successfully delivers the final blow at each interval are immediately kicked out. In the end, only three servers remain to slug it out for the final boss takedown. Also, keep in mind that the content schedule has been tweaked to ease fatigue caused by the continuous addition of elite dungeons.
An artifact transformation system tailored for reaching level 100 artifacts is also in the works. It will first be applied to the opening artifact, Olga's Holy Oil. Every time you enhance an artifact through this transformation, it grows randomly by a value between 1 and 3. The goal is to hit the maximum level within a set number of enhancement attempts. If you burn through all your attempts without success, you can simply reset the progress. A save and load feature will be provided as well.

Additionally, Vampir plans to roll out a Halloween event dungeon and four types of equipment recovery tickets across all regions. The event dungeon drops a colorful array of goodies, including stat-boosting seals, Sephiroth selection chests, and artifact enhancement stones. Since the four types of equipment recovery tickets—covering weapons, armor, accessories, and sub-equipment—will be handed out via an attendance event, you will definitely want to log in.As for the Global 2 region, a dedicated shop commemorating the VCC will be added. A 100th-day launch celebration event and a tournament commemoration event are also on the way. Some of these details were already dropped in the third-week developer notes for October, so we strongly recommend checking out the official community for the full scoop.
November brings class balance tweaks and the Global 2 VCC

Let us continue unpacking the Vampir year-end update roadmap. In November, the South Korea and Global 1 regions will receive a brand-new region: Tiha, alongside a new elemental system. Tiha is designed as a hunting ground for levels 131 to 150, accompanied by main, sub, and daily quests dropped right alongside the update. The team also plans to introduce a character compendium, epic and bloodline dungeons, and world bosses all at once.On top of that, specific hunting grounds will feature equipment that can be utilized depending on the elemental affinities of the monsters you face.A total of five new mounts, including one mythical mount, will be added across all regions.
The hot-button topic for Vampir players—class balance improvements—is also scheduled for November. Because every user holds different expectations for how this should look, the development team is currently weighing several directions. Right now, the team aims to tackle situations where certain jobs find themselves at a disadvantage in specific content, or where players feel forced to rely only on the exact same skills over and over. They plan to weave fresh effects into underutilized skills to create synergies with other tools, while lifting lackluster skills closer to the overall average.
The Global 2 region will host its very own VCC Clan Championship tournament. The aforementioned new rules for VCC and VCL will be applied here. Detailed schedules and finer points will be communicated later through a separate notice.

December brings the expansion of Gehenna Sector 4. The update promises a fresh boss, skill books, legendary equipment, and an upgraded spread of rewards. Alongside this expansion, the team shared plans to revamp the competitive dynamics of the existing sectors 1 and 2. Instead of matching players against other servers, these will be set to server-exclusive configurations. The goal behind this tweak is to ensure that players on underdog servers can still secure Gehenna boss rewards while preventing strategic gaps between servers from widening too drastically.
The alchemy system sounds intriguing as well. It is a system designed to let players ditch underutilized, unwanted equipment to acquire brand-new items. Specific usage methods and granular details will be shared once the content is finalized, according to the team. Clan missions are getting a brand-new boss added to the mix, and a boss summoning feature will debut as well. Lastly, re-synthesis tickets are on the way, so keep your ears open to the official community channels.
Unveiling the pre-survey results

The third segment of the Vampir developer livestream focused on outlining the direction for future improvements. Before diving in, the team expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who took part in the pre-survey held from October 2 to 11. When asked about preferred arena times, weekday evenings claimed the highest number of votes across both South Korea and Greater China, with weekend evenings trailing in second place. Consequently, the upcoming arena regular season has been locked in for Thursdays and Saturdays.
Hopes for arena improvements also aligned closely across both regions. Refining matchmaking to better account for combat power gaps took the top spot, adjustments to schedule, frequency, and time slots landed in second, and cracking down on AFK or idle players came in third. Priorities four through six differed slightly between the regions, but the seventh spot was shared universally: class and skill balance, which pulled 4 percent of the vote in South Korea and 3 percent in Greater China. Meanwhile, features and preferred rewards that currently keep users happy will either be left untouched or used as a baseline for future reward structures.
Pinpointing what is most desperately needed for Vampir's class balance was another major talking point. Voters across both the South Korea and Greater China regions threw their weight behind the need to level out hunting efficiencies across classes. However, priorities diverged slightly when it came to 'intensifying distinct characteristics per class' and 'formulating ways to ease lower-combat-power users into PvP participation.'
The final batch of survey results addressed questions directed at Producer Han Ki-hyun. Aside from formal surveys, Vampir's team continuously monitors player feedback left across the community and forums. While implementing every single suggestion on the spot is a tall order, the team promised to review the necessity and priority of each requested improvement so they can genuinely fold them into the game.

What lies ahead for Vampir's content improvements?

Wrapping up the survey results, the team laid out the primary improvement goals for Vampir. For high-end users, the focus is on delivering a fiercer, more entertaining competitive environment alongside sustained progression goals. To achieve this, Sector 4 of Gehenna is locked in, and boss rewards are getting a complete overhaul. The team is also reviewing floor expansions for Narichanye Valley. For mid-tier players, the emphasis rests squarely on expanding opportunities to participate in content and snag rewards. The previously mentioned matchmaking tweaks for Gehenna sectors 1 and 2 serve as part of that exact initiative.
For all users, timed progression events are on the horizon to accelerate leveling speeds. The team intends to continuously refine existing reward structures to help players dive into a larger pool of content much faster. A brand-new class is currently in the oven, and the team hinted that they should be able to share more granular details during the next broadcast.
Class-wise, the developers aim to smooth out performance gaps between professions and audit combat efficiencies across the board. The arena will heavily focus on shoring up matchmaking fairness and tuning the combat environment. Matchmaking will incorporate an acceptance phase; failing to accept will boot players out of the queue or hand out penalties. Efforts are also underway to refine friend-or-foe identification and build a much smoother gameplay experience. As touched on earlier, the VCC will see structural upgrades to its tournament format. To wrap things up, Vampir hosted a live Q&A session to chat directly with players in real time. You can catch the full video breakdown over on the official Vampir YouTube channel. Adieu, mate!
