Naturally, this bumped up their combat power by a solid 5,249 last week to reach 126,266, firmly cementing the top spot in the region rankings. On top of that, hwal-eom-neum swapped classes from Archer to Assassin during the recent class change event. Fighting an Assassin with 'double mythical' gear sounds like an absolute nightmare, doesn't it?

The end of the class change ticket sales has naturally caused quite a seismic shift in the distribution charts. The most striking bit is the sharp drop in the Archer population. Looking at statistics from 200 rankers with a combat power of 81,125 or higher in New World Season 2, the Archer market share plummeted by a massive 12.5 percentage points, dropping from 61.5% to 49%. While Archers are brilliant for early leveling, the consensus seems to be that they run out of steam in the late game.

Furthermore, Arthdal Chronicles is planning to patch the monsters in the Black Night Archipelago sectors 3 and 4 into aggressive types in the late October update. Naturally, many top rankers have anticipated this and switched to classes like Fighter, Holy Knight, Storm Wizard, and Assassin, which excel at farming aggressive mobs. Frankly, one can only wonder how hunting will feel after that late October update drops.

Meanwhile, the Vega server also posted the highest weekly growth figure of 5,306, reaching an average combat power of 92,640. However, the gap with Pegasus in 3rd place is so huge that breaking out of that rank anytime soon looks rather unlikely.
