In what the publisher calls the biggest scale yet, the tournament boasts a total prize pool of 30,000,000 KRW and introduces a brand new job ban system. The two teams that survive the offline qualifiers and main tournament will battle it out in the final showdown at the Fan Festival 2027 in Seoul.

CCRC 2027 Korea is the official South Korean tournament utilizing the 5v5 PvP content 'Crystalline Conflict' from Final Fantasy 14. Expanding upon the successful 'Limit Breakers' events held in 2023 and 2024, the tournament has been relaunched with a new name, a larger scale, and fresh rules. This time around, a job ban system is being introduced, allowing both teams to designate restricted jobs before the match begins, paving the way for deeper tactical setups and sophisticated countermeasures against opponent strategies.

The tournament kicks off team registration for the preliminaries on December 8th, running for about three months until the finals held live at the Fan Festival 2027 in Seoul venue on March 13th to 14th, 2027. Registration stays open until December 28th, and any Final Fantasy 14 account holder can team up with up to 7 members to enter. The 8 qualified teams making it to the preliminaries will be announced on the official website on January 5th, 2027.

The quarter-final preliminaries are scheduled for January 30th, 2027, at a PC Bang in the Seoul area, featuring a best-of-three group round-robin format. The 4 teams clearing this hurdle will advance to a best-of-five tournament bracket to determine the finalists. The main tournament matches will be broadcast live via the official Final Fantasy 14 YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, CCRC 2027 Korea awards the championship team 25,000,000 KRW in prize money alongside exclusive achievements, titles, and a trophy. The runner-up takes home 5,000,000 KRW, while all participants reaching the top 8 preliminaries receive a special reward consisting of exclusive event titles and achievements. Various missions and events will also run throughout the tournament period for regular players to enjoy together.
