Welcome to the Arthdal Chronicles New World Season 2 magnifying glass corner, where we break down the server ranking info. Four new top rankers have just secured Mythic Spirits this week. Meanwhile, Aurora and Phoenix servers finally bumped into each other for the first time in the Black Night Archipelago, and they wasted no time kicking off a proper war. Let us see how the current New World Season 2 landscape is holding up, as investigated by KookminTree.

Four New Mythic Spirit Rankers Emerge

New rankers have bagged Mythic Spirits in New World Season 2. The stars of the show are Paladin Hitdecon from the Aurora server (Barkan), Archer Jenny from the Suho Shinryong server, Assassin Jeong Gae-cheol from the Phoenix server (Tiran), and Paladin Yuri from the Vega server (Tiran). Each of these rankers serves as a representative player for their respective server, making waves in cross-server content.

Among them, the most eye-catching ranker is undoubtedly Yuri from the Vega server. Just a month ago, Yuri was lingering outside the top 20 with a combat power of 65,799, sitting firmly in the mid-tier. Recently, however, Yuri rocketed combat power up to 112,136, landing comfortably at 9th place in the New World Season 2 rankings. That is a jaw-dropping surge of 46,337 combat power in roughly a month, showing some serious growth momentum. We cannot wait to see what comes next.

There have been no major shifts in the top ranker class distribution. Looking at the stats for the top 200 rankers in New World Season 2, Archers and Priests rose by 0.5 percentage points, while Dual Swordsmen and Assassins dropped by 0.5 percentage points—and that is about it. Unless the class change ticket, which finished its sales run last week, makes a comeback, this market share looks locked in.

How Do the New World Season 2 Server Rankings Look?

Shifting gears to server average combat power rankings in New World Season 2, four servers saw zero movement in placement this week. Aurora boosted average combat power by 4,401 to hold onto 1st place, followed by Phoenix up by 4,264, Pegasus up by 3,576, and Vega up by 4,379, maintaining their previous spots. Since the average power levels across all four servers are practically neck and neck, expect some fierce scraps in unified content.

New World Season 2 Match of the Week: Aurora vs Phoenix

Aurora, sitting at 1st place in the New World Season 2 rankings, and Phoenix at 2nd, have crossed paths in the Black Night Archipelago for the very first time since the region opened. Naturally, friction sparked right out of the gate, leading straight to a war. Interestingly, the war is shaping up as a coalition clash rather than a simple 1:1 showdown between the two servers.

First off, the entire Phoenix server had originally banded together under a single coalition to tackle other servers. Recently, however, led by Phoenix server ranker #1 Pyongyang Bat-chigi, players like Nipper, Paru, and Wrench bolted from the Phoenix coalition and jumped ship to their former allies, the Hardware Store guild. They then declared war on their former bedfellows, the Phoenix and Hell coalition. With civil war breaking out internally, the Aurora coalition—which was already at war with the Phoenix coalition—naturally shook hands with the Hardware Store alliance.

Comparing the power of the two coalitions, the Phoenix coalition is staring down a massive disadvantage. Their average combat power is lower by 6,396, and they have 8 fewer rankers with over 100,000 combat power stepping into the fray. Even when they were fully united, securing a win against the Aurora coalition was a tall order, so this lopsided outlook is hardly surprising now that their heavy-hitter Hardware Store alliance has walked away.

According to user intel, day one of the boss fights was an absolute landslide victory for the Aurora coalition. Then again, the war has barely been running for a full day. Word is that the Phoenix coalition is refusing to back down, keeping up skirmishes all across the Black Night Archipelago fields. How will this war ultimately pan out?
