Cyan Yin announced on August 30 that a free demo of Looks Fine on Paper will be released on Steam.

Looks Fine on Paper adopts a puzzle mechanic where players deduce the shape and location of rooms on a blank architectural drawing using room area conditions and clues to complete a building floor plan. Unlike conventional puzzle games that rely on placing pre-determined pieces, the standout feature here is that players must directly deduce the shape and position of each room.

The puzzles in Looks Fine on Paper consist of various spatial conditions, such as requirements for rooms to be adjacent, the relationship between rooms and doors or windows, furniture placement rules, and constraints between furniture, walls, doors, and windows. These intricately linked conditions mean that satisfying one might conflict with another, so players need to be careful when moving rooms or furniture. The core objective is to find a floor plan that simultaneously satisfies all these conditions.

Released on August 30 at 1 PM, the free demo version includes a tutorial and a total of 15 levels. The demo supports a total of 14 languages, including English and Korean.
