Daewon Media is set to officially open its complex cultural space, 'Popcorn D Square' Seongsu branch, in Seongsu-dong, Seoul on November 12. This space is designed so that visitors can enjoy various characters and intellectual property (IP) content all in one place. Following the Yongsan branch, Daewon Media is opening a second location in Seongsu-dong to strengthen communication with fans in their 20s and 30s, who form the core IP customer base, and expand touchpoints.

The newly opening Popcorn D Square Seongsu branch is a standalone building consisting of a total of nine floors, from the first basement level to the eighth floor. Excluding the basement level and the office spaces on the 7th and 8th floors, floors 1 through 6 will feature a variety of IP-related content, including food and beverage (F&B), character merchandise, Ichiban Kuji, and pop-up events. The first floor will house the second special store of the premium dessert cafe 'KURARIE', operating under a latte bar concept to sell carefully selected latte and chocolate menus.

The second floor will feature an official Ichiban Kuji store, offering lottery-style character figures and goods through a new product lineup every month. An opening commemorative 'Kuji Mission Bingo Event' will run here until December 20. On the third floor, 'Mono Shop' will offer popular animation IP figures alongside products and capsule toys from various brands such as Sega, Furyu, Banpresto, Cospa, Muzik Tiger, and Nintendo. The fourth floor will see the opening of a San-X mini store presenting 'Rilakkuma' and 'Sumikko Gurashi' merchandise, alongside a Seongsu branch-exclusive random magnet giveaway promotion.

On the fifth floor, a pop-up store for trading card game (TCG) related products of popular IPs such as Pokémon, One Piece, and Yu-Gi-Oh! will run until December 12. The pop-up store will hold its first round of advance reservations starting November 5 through the Daewon Media reservation platform 'Popcorn D Play'. The first reservation entry dates are from November 12 to November 18. To celebrate the opening, Popcorn D Square will host a gacha game participation event for customers who make a combined purchase of 30,000 won or more across floors 2 to 4, which will end when prizes run out.

Through the complex cultural spaces 'Popcorn D Square' operated in Yongsan and Seongsu, Daewon Media aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the offline space business and realize the corporate vision of bringing joy and fun to the world utilizing content and IP.
