Teamfight Tactics (TFT) has just rolled out its latest set, 'Fables and Legends'.

Rooted in the Runeterra universe, 'Fables and Legends' claims to offer the widest array of choices in the history of TFT sets. You aren't just getting your usual champion roster; the game is welcoming monsters like Baron Nashor, Rift Herald, and Atakhan. With over 300 augments and a fresh 'Unlock' mechanic, it aims to let you craft some truly idiosyncratic strategies.

Beyond the 60 base units, the 'Unlock' system allows you to draft 40 additional units. These aren't just handed to you, mind; you'll need to complete specific trait-based missions. Take 'Zahen', who appears after you secure the 'Twilight Trial' augment and field a 3-star Xin Zhao for five rounds, or 'Brock', who comes with a devastating knock-up skill. If you're into the cosmetic side of things, look out for the Prestige Chibi Blood Moon Miss Fortune, Unleashed K/DA Ahri, Unleashed Rebellion King Darius, and the 'Le Cafe de Paris' arena, all available since the 4th.

To mark the launch, Riot is running a series of events until Tuesday, the 23rd. By playing TFT during the 'Legendary Play' event, you can collect 'Rune Cards' on the official event page to enter draws for prizes like the 'TFT Legendary Goods Package', a 'TFT Runeterra Hoodie', or 200 Treasure Tokens. For the competitive types, there is also a 'Legendary Ranking' event where the top 500 players can score rewards like the 'TFT Legendary Goods Package' and 500 Treasure Tokens.

On the esports front, Riot Games is hosting the 'TFT Paris Open' in Paris from Friday, December 12th to Sunday, the 14th, with a total prize pool of approximately 450,000,000 KRW. Keep an eye out for upcoming content featuring the 'Runeterra Expedition' team, which includes model Jung Hyuk, actor Yeonwoo, and influencer Palchaseon, who are all set to compete in the tournament.
