NEXUS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 22nd with the global security auditing firm CertiK. CertiK is a global Web3 security service provider that supports overall blockchain infrastructure, including on-chain risk detection, real-time monitoring, and security audits. CertiK has collaborated with major companies such as Ethereum, Binance, and Tether, and is currently safeguarding approximately 800 trillion won worth of digital assets across more than 5,000 projects worldwide.

Through this partnership, the two firms are establishing a long-term framework for blockchain security, auditing, compliance, and stablecoin infrastructure. Notably, CertiK is discussing an expanded partnership with NEXUS, contingent upon a strategic investment. The companies will also engage in practical collaboration to bolster the stability of the stablecoin-based payment infrastructure NEXUS is building, as well as the overall safety of the CROSS ecosystem.

The two companies plan to cooperate on technical and regulatory fronts, including smart contract security, auditing, and joint reviews of on-chain risk monitoring. They will also work together to build a regulatory and audit framework for Asian stablecoin projects. Regarding business development, they will co-create a strategy for CertiK’s expansion into the Asian market and broaden their scope of cooperation, focusing on blockchain security and enterprise-grade solutions.
