Hailing from the canyon city of Castrum, Kalia is a mercenary defined by the lore of being a 'blade of dawn's light' that severed the nightmare of pitch black. After exacting vengeance upon the man who betrayed her father, she wandered aimlessly to escape the shadows that plagued her, eventually finding her way to Colhen.

She wields the 'Half Claymore', a heavy greatsword that shifts seamlessly between one-handed and two-handed grips. Her combat style is all about fluidity; you'll be chaining attacks and defences through a combo-based system that rewards quick thinking and tactical switching.

Key skills include 'The Aella', which unlocks an enhanced move after a successful finishing smash, 'Spiral Arc', a spinning strike that restores SP for follow-up brutality, and 'Breaching Edge', a piercing thrust designed to shatter an enemy's posture.

Two bespoke outfits have arrived alongside her. 'Sable Granada'—meaning 'Black Pomegranate'—uses deep crimson lining within a black leather cloak to mirror Kalia's own stoic strength. Meanwhile, the 'Pale Minerva' set leans into the aesthetic of an elegant, battle-hardened warrior.

To mark the 16th anniversary of the service, Nexon is gifting a 'Vindictus 16th Birthday Coupon' to anyone who logs in before February 5th. Rewards include a Legendary-grade 'Packaged Music Box Object', an 'Event Mate: Epona Box', 16 'Wadne's Crystals', and a choice of exclusive avatar gear.
