Flaming Fowl Studios has officially launched its new auto-battler, Starship Battle, on the 23rd. This sci-fi themed title captures humanity's aspiration for survival in space. Featuring tributes to various classic sci-fi works, players operate their own warships in the galaxy to compete for survival.

The full release significantly enhances the achievement system and completely overhauls the user interface. Improvements to the trade center and menu interface have been implemented to increase user convenience, and the overall combat experience has been refined. Adjustments to ship balance and flight systems have also been made. The existing flagship, the 'Millennium Falcon', returns with a fresh new look. The latest content can be previewed via the open beta branch.

The core gameplay involves building unique space warships by combining technologies from various factions. Players must place cargo acquired from the trade center inside the ship's hold. Since performance and effects vary depending on the placement, strategic planning for efficient cargo space utilization is required. The ability to densely pack cargo within limited space acts as a key factor in determining a ship's competitiveness.

Managing human resources, specifically pilots, is also essential. Pilots can be assigned to expand ship sections or directly boost firepower by piloting fighters. Since a pilot can only perform one task at a time, players must choose between expanding their forces or engaging in direct combat. Once prepared, ships automatically enter the battlefield, and asynchronous matchmaking allows players to engage in combat and achieve victory regardless of their opponent's online status.

The game features numerous homages to famous sci-fi series such as Star Wars, Star Trek, and Dune, as well as classic IPs like Dungeons & Dragons and Harry Potter. Reinterpreted ships and hidden Easter eggs based on pop culture icons like Halo and Futurama add to the fun. These diverse genre parodies provide familiarity to sci-fi fans and create a festival-like combat environment.
