Wargaming is kicking off a five-day Closed Beta Test for its new title, 'World of Tanks: HEAT', running from April 16th to the 20th.

Set in the post-WWII era, the free-to-play tank shooter 'World of Tanks: HEAT' reimagines the franchise's signature gameplay with a significantly more dynamic and fast-paced tempo. Players take on the role of elite operatives to command various experimental tanks, which can be customized with advanced weapon systems, armor modules, and cosmetic upgrades.

During the test, players can experience tanks and operatives across three distinct roles: Defender, Attacker, and Sniper. Eight maps will be available, along with four game modes: 5v5 Base Capture, where control points shift constantly; 5v5 Domination, focused on holding a single area; 5v5 Assassination, where players secure tokens from fallen foes or retrieve those dropped by allies to deny enemy scores; and the dynamic 10v10 Occupation mode, featuring intense combat across multiple zones.

Powered by Wargaming's new proprietary engine, World of Tanks: HEAT will launch simultaneously on PC (via Wargaming Game Center and Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam Deck, and NVIDIA GeForce Now. The game supports full cross-platform play and cross-progression.
