Netmarble has injected a fresh dose of content into The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, introducing the new hero 'Gowther' alongside an expansion to the main storyline.

'Gowther' is a magical doll yearning to understand human emotions and is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, wielding the peculiar ability to manipulate the minds and memories of others.

In The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Gowther utilizes wands, grimoires, and staves. The wand allows for lightning-attribute bursts to unleash raw firepower while simultaneously bolstering allies. The grimoire focuses on tactical control, linking and grouping enemies to dictate the flow of battle. Meanwhile, the staff offers a more strategic approach, enhancing the lightning capabilities of allies while casting debuffs to sap enemy resistance.

If you take the time to test out Gowther before August 5, the developer is handing out rewards including Star Fragments, High-grade Mastery EXP, and various growth materials.

The main story Act 15 has also been released. The narrative kicks off with a barbarian raid on the northern garrison, leading players to uncover the truth behind the chaos—and encounter a few unexpected faces along the way.

The guild system has seen a proper overhaul, featuring 'Guild Boss Battles' where you must coordinate with your comrades to take down foes, and 'Guild Rankings' to settle who is truly the best. A new boss challenge, the 'Corrupted Barbarian Chieftain Durack', has also been added to the mix.

Running until August 26, the 14-day 'Journey to Find a Heart' attendance event offers rewards such as Pick-up Hero Summon Tickets, Gold, Ingot Selection Boxes, Cube Key Bundles, and Radiant Imprint Seals. Furthermore, the 'Decide! Twigo' event, held from July 22 to August 5, lets you earn event tickets through missions like logging in, crafting, and pet exploration, with Fever Time providing opportunities to snag Gold, Ingots, Sunstones, and Star Fragments.
