Pearl Abyss is hosting an offline event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Black Desert's service in North America and Europe. The event, titled "2026 Heidel Ball in SoCal," will be held in California on July 26 (local time). 200 adventurers from the North American and European regions will attend the event in person.

The event will feature various programs to look back on and commemorate the past 10 years of service. Pearl Abyss will engage with adventurers through activities such as a cosplay contest showcasing the fans' dedication, and an activity zone where attendees can participate directly to win various prizes.

Information on upcoming major updates will also be revealed. The showcase will be broadcast live worldwide in nine languages on July 26 at 10:00 AM via the official Black Desert YouTube channel and Chzzk. Ahead of the event, Pearl Abyss has been releasing clues about the new update content, including images for Edania Part 2 and a revolver-style weapon that appears to be used by a new class.

On July 16, a teaser video for the new class was released on the official YouTube channel. The one-minute video includes character voice lines, clues about the name, and codenames. Black Desert began its service in Korea in December 2014 before expanding globally, and it has been operating in North America and Europe since its launch there on March 3, 2016.
