League of Legends rolled out a fresh update on the 12th, aiming to curb the recent non-ADC meta currently prevalent in the bottom lane.

First off, to bridge the power gap between mages and marksmen, the base magic resist for marksmen has been increased. A raft of champions including Akshan, Ashe, Caitlyn, Ezreal, Jhin, and Jinx now boast a base magic resist of 33, though the growth per level has seen a minor reduction from 1.3 to 1.1.

The penalty for supports leaving the bottom lane early has also been stiffened. Previously, roaming before level 3 triggered a 25% stack reduction for their quest; this has now been extended to level 5, with the penalty increased to 33%. Furthermore, the quest stack consumption for minion kills and champion hits has been recalibrated to discourage supports from excessive roaming to other lanes. Additionally, to support mage and tank junglers, the growth scaling of jungle companions has been buffed specifically for magic and defensive stats.

Champion balance adjustments were also implemented. Azir, Gwen, and Kennen received buffs, while Camille, Bel'Veth, and Poppy were nerfed. As for Nasus, the stacks gained from securing kills with abilities have been adjusted; the stacks increase in some instances but are set to decrease in specific scenarios.

In Classic mode, new arrivals include Akali, Shen, and Kennen, accompanied by a series of champion and rune tweaks. Meanwhile, for ARAM: Chaos, new augments titled 'Ravenous Hydra Upgrade' and 'Sundered Sky Upgrade' have been introduced, alongside a fix for the bug that prevented players from selecting the 'Clarity' and 'Cleanse' summoner spells.
