Kakao Games officially launched 'Ohneulduhodoo', a new brain-training title developed by Beluga, on the 24th.

Ohneulduhodoo is the official service name for the 'hodoo' project, a collaborative research effort between Kakao Games and Beluga. Beluga is a startup specializing in cognitive function assessment and digital therapeutics, composed of a group of experts including a research team from the Seoul National University College of Medicine, cognitive scientists, and brain engineers. The company develops games based on neuroscience and cognitive psychology research.

The game is designed to help users manage their memory, attention (concentration), executive function, language, and visuospatial skills in a balanced way. With its intuitive gameplay and diverse content, it can be enjoyed by all age groups interested in brain health management.

Users can train core cognitive functions by playing casual games daily and track their changes through growth records for each domain. The game also features 'Mission Challenges' to tackle various goals and a 'Social Ranking' system to compete with other users.

Kakao Games and Beluga signed a business agreement in 2023 to conduct joint research on functional games for dementia diagnosis, prevention, and management. Professor Min Kyung-bok of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Seoul National University College of Medicine participated as a co-researcher. A paper proving the effectiveness of cognitive function measurement in 'Brain OK', a dementia symptom detection game released in June 2024, was published in the medical journal 'Diagnostics'.
