Mgame announced on August 25 that Knight Online, the MMORPG jointly developed and serviced with Noah System, has rolled out a brand-new instant dungeon named 'Pathos 5th Corps Command'.

The newly added 'Pathos 5th Corps Command' is a 30-floor survival-focused content piece incorporating roguelike elements, where the main objective is to stop the unsealed Commander of the 5th Pathos Corps. You will step right into the command, take down sequentially spawning monsters, and ultimately take on the corps commander. Characters at level 83 or above can enter once a day through a new NPC located in the center of Ronark Land.

Crucially, it adopts a survival combat style distinct from traditional hunting content. Upon entry, the health of all characters is fixed at 1,000, and standard attacks are disabled. A roguelike progression system is applied where you level up exclusively within the dungeon by slaying monsters, picking one of three randomized skills such as 'Plasma Impact', 'Half-Moon Sword Aura', and 'Death Laser' upon leveling up to build your skill combination. Strategic decisions are demanded, such as utilizing supply crates scattered throughout the dungeon to recover health or secure airstrike support effects, while the experience points gained during your dungeon run also contribute to your character's overall growth.

The reward structure for clearing the dungeon has been revamped as well. By defeating the dungeon boss, you can obtain the 'Pathos Corps Supply Box', which grants a chance to acquire the new 'Holy Knight Weapon'. Furthermore, a monthly reward system is in place, differentially distributing the 'Red Treasure Chest', 'Old Drakki Supply Box', and 'Drakki Supply Box' based on your cumulative clear counts. Alongside the dungeon content, seven new 'Cat Familiars' have landed. Featuring various appearances ranging from a cat wearing a wizard's hat to calico and tiger-striped felines, equipping these familiars significantly boosts your character stats. You can pick a familiar that matches your taste and grow alongside it.

To celebrate this update, Mgame is running a variety of events through September 22. Players who clear the dungeon up to 20 floors or higher will receive an additional 24 'Pathos Corps Supply Boxes'. In addition, a lucky draw will select 24 players per server among those who have cleared the dungeon 3 times or more, rewarding them with the 'Advanced Cat Pet Transformation Scroll', which guarantees 100% stat options.
