This match marked the final cycle of the TGM Online Series, serving as the stage to lock in the qualification layout for the international Grand Major main tournament and qualifiers scheduled to kick off in 2026.

Broadcasted worldwide on August 22, the APAC fourth cycle TOP 8 finals featured a total of eight teams: Ape Squad and MIRGG from South Korea, KingZero and DRG from China, the South Korea-Australia joint team 777rs, Hanabi and Tsukuyomi from Japan, and the Singapore-Indonesia joint team Gunflix. The match went down on the Las Vegas map where 777rs, MIRGG, DRG, and KingZero clashed in true competitive fashion.

Following a tight early skirmish, 777rs and MIRGG kept the Chinese teams in check and advanced to the final match. The ultimate showdown unfolded across the Las Vegas and Bernal maps. For their setup, 777rs opted for a heavy-heavy-light team composition favourable for defense, while MIRGG countered with a heavy-medium-light composition focusing on sustain. Securing four consecutive cashouts, 777rs claimed their maiden series victory, walking away with 100 points and a cash prize of $2,000 (approximately 2.72 million KRW).

Spanning roughly four months, the TGM Online Series APAC League has officially wrapped up its schedule with this cycle. Moving forward, representative teams from the three regions—APAC, AMERICAS, and EMEA—will dive headfirst into fierce competition for the global grand finale, Grand Major 2026, which boasts a total prize pool of $150,000 (approximately 204 million KRW). KingZero, having secured the number one spot on the APAC online leaderboard, marches straight into the Grand Major 2026 main tournament, while Ape Squad, DRG, 777rs, and MIRGG advance to the closed qualifiers. Meanwhile, teams ranked 6th to 9th will automatically advance to the open qualifiers to keep their main event dreams alive.
