The Game Culture Foundation has just dropped the main stage programme for the upcoming game culture festival, 'GXG 2026 (Game culture X Generation 2026)', set to take place around the Pangyo Station Square from September 11 to 12.

Things kick off on September 11 with an opening ceremony to mark the start of GXG 2026. Things start rolling with a pre-performance by 'Wojoo Trouble Club', last year's winners of the GXG SOUND TRACK, followed by an opening declaration from Seongnam Mayor Shin Sang-jin. After that, Dynamic Duo will take over the stage.

We will also see the finals of the game music contest, 'The 3rd GXG SOUND TRACK'. Six finalists who reinterpreted inspirations drawn from game worldviews, characters, and gameplay experiences into music will hit the stage with their original tracks. Pre-voting runs from August 28 to September 10, and on-site voting on the day of the finals will also count towards the final verdict.

On September 12, the GXG Gala Concert arrives to let you experience game music across a variety of genres. You can catch a special performance of game music by Neople's disabled cello ensemble, 'Ensemble Heal', alongside a special game sound series performance by the National Gugak Center Contemporary Orchestra, who are giving game tunes a traditional Korean makeover. Following that, the finalists of The 3rd GXG SOUND TRACK will return to perform their contest songs and free tracks.

Ahead of the main event, a pre-event on September 10 lets you sample the GXG music vibe early. Running from 5 PM to 9 PM on Pangyo Contents Street, the GXG Busking Time features five office worker bands made up of folks from the gaming and IT industries.
