Eleventh Hour Games, a creative studio under KRAFTON, has rolled out Season 5: 'Rage of the Frostborn' for the action RPG 'Last Epoch'. This fresh update brings new seasonal content, bosses, skills, and items to the table, alongside a serious overhaul of localization quality.

The crown jewel of Season 5 is 'Rage of Morditas'. In this mode, players activate blood crystals and fend off relentless waves of enemies to secure various rewards. By making good use of the gathered resources and rituals, players can tweak the type and quality of rewards to match individual playstyles.

Fresh challengers arrive in the form of the new boss Morditas and the pinnacle boss Pinnacle Morditas, adding some genuine depth to the combat loop. Alongside them, three new skills and a bunch of new unique and set items land, dramatically widening the scope for character builds and gear combos.

Alongside the Season 5 update, Last Epoch has heavily focused on leveling up its localization game. By setting up a dedicated localization team and teaming up with KRAFTON, the developers have overhauled the accuracy and consistency of Korean phrasing and terminology across the board. EHG plans to keep pumping investment into top-tier localization quality for Korean and other languages moving forward.

On top of that, EHG co-founder Mike Weicker has stepped up as the new Game Director for Last Epoch. Having spent roughly nine years on the project since its early development days back in 2017, Mike Weicker will carry the torch of EHG CEO Judd Cobler's development philosophy, steering the future direction of the game and its live service operations.
