Smilegate announced on the 2nd that it will open a new server called 'Hakan' for its all-class MMORPG Lord Nine at 7 PM on the upcoming 23rd, with pre-registration kicking off on the 6th.

The Hakan server is billed as a 'Re:make' server, promising a gameplay experience distinct from existing servers. Notably, the monetization element involving 'Artifacts' has been tossed out, allowing players to acquire Artifacts purely through in-game play. Furthermore, existing progression content will be unlocked in stages, and players can now secure 'Abilities' simply by hunting regular monsters. A 'Time Shard' trading system also looks set to make an appearance.

Pre-registration for the Hakan server runs from October 6th through to the official launch on the 23rd. Players can jump in via the pre-registration page on the official Lord Nine Stove community. Those who pre-register will pocket a variety of goodies, including the 'Radiant Destiny El Nerta' avatar skin, the 'Radiant Glory Tronus' mount saddle, and buff items designed to speed up the progression of 'Mastery', 'Specialisation', and 'Abilities'.

Smilegate plans to roll out a slew of events alongside the Hakan server launch to help players breeze through the early-game grind. Expect the usual suspects—'Mission Events', 'Attendance Events', and 'Level-up Reward Events'—to hand out essential starting gear.
