Webzen is holding a character name reservation event ahead of the launch of the new server 'Memoria' for the PC MMORPG R2. The Memoria server is scheduled to officially launch on October 22.

The newly introduced Memoria server is a temporary event server operated for a limited period. Players can enjoy R2 faster and easier in this server with increased experience, item, and silver acquisition rates. In addition, characters nurtured in the Memoria server can be transferred to standard or specialized servers to continue playing after the event period ends, and upon transfer, Memoria-exclusive support equipment boxes and separate coin pouches will be provided.

The character name reservation event runs for about 10 days from 20:00 on October 8 to 00:00 on October 19. Any player with an R2 account can apply for character name reservation by selecting a desired character name and class through the official Webzen website, and the pre-reserved character name can be used on the Memoria server after its launch.

Webzen has prepared special perks for applicants of this character name reservation event. Participants will receive a character appearance change voucher, a time-limited training girl necklace, and battle Draco rings, limited to once per account. In addition, the developer provides top-tier servant eggs and an alchemist skill book capable of hardcore transformation, and accounts that complete ARS authentication can additionally acquire four types of multi-colored cards required for transformation collection.

Detailed information regarding the launch schedule of the new R2 server Memoria and the character name reservation event can be found on the official website.
