Twelve elite teams from around the globe will battle for a total prize pool of $300,000, qualified through professional leagues in South Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam, alongside results from the previous international event 'FC Pro Masters' and accumulated 'FC Pro Points'. Representing South Korea are four solid choices: T1, GEN CITY, DNSoopers, and kt Rolster.

The action kicks off with the group stage running from October 13 to October 15. The twelve teams are divided into two groups of six, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the quarterfinals. The quarterfinals take place on October 16, followed by the semifinals on October 17 using a best-of-five single-elimination format. The grand final happens on October 18 in a grueling best-of-seven series, where the champions take home $110,000, the runners-up secure $55,000, and the third-place team is awarded $275,000.

Nexon is hosting an offline viewing event for the final of the FC Pro Champions Cup 2026. Through a lottery system for users who pre-registered on the official FC Online website, a total of 230 fans will be invited to the venue on October 18. Attendees can check out various programmes on-site, including an influencer squad clinic and an FC Online experience zone.
