On the 17th, Netmarble announced that Netmarble Neo has rolled out a fresh raid for Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds.

The new raid, 'Witch's Castle Basement,' thrusts players into a narrative centered on uncovering the schemes of Witch Leila. You will be facing off against bosses that are essentially magical creatures born from twisted experiments. Successfully conquering this raid grants you the 'Forbidden Creature' costume and the new 'Broomer' mount.

To celebrate the raid's arrival, the developer has introduced 'Pompom,' a new light-attribute support Familiar. If you take part in the 'Nice to meet you! Pompom Growth UP' event and complete the associated missions, you will be rewarded with a rare 4-star Pompom.

The update also tinkers with existing content. The 3v3 PvP mode, 'Temple Mayhem,' has been overhauled into 'Mayhem Grand Battle,' expanding the action to a 5v5 team format. Each team must nominate a captain, and the path to victory lies in taking down the opposing captain a set number of times.

Responding to player feedback, the Water Bomb Battle event now features a reduced play time. Engaging in this mode nets you rewards like the Ancient Magic King's Research Journal and Premium Magic Page Selection Chests. Furthermore, five new buddies—Ducku, Umang, Panana, Blubez, and Raya—along with their respective skins, have been added to the mix.
