THE IDOLM@STER IP, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is treating its 'Producers' to a year-end live performance.

Bandai Namco Entertainment dropped a flurry of announcements during its 20th-anniversary live stream on the 26th. Starting with the original arcade game released on July 26, 2005, this idol-raising series has come a long way. To date, the franchise has held 500 live events and churned out over 20,000 idol cards.

The broadcast showcased idols visiting various regions across Japan, accompanied by comments and a wave of new merchandise. Bandai Namco Entertainment also mapped out a roadmap for 20th-anniversary events, including trading cards hitting shelves on August 2, and various collaborations with local businesses and municipalities.

The real headliner is the 'THE IDOLM@STER OF IDOL WORLD 2025' joint concert, which has caught the eye of Producers everywhere as it brings together six different games from the IP. The concert takes place at Kyocera Dome Osaka over two days this December, 13-14, with each date featuring a distinct lineup. The organizers have also teased special guest V-Live on the 13th, followed by Alba Noct from the Okuzora Production of Starlit Season on the 14th.

In the meantime, Bandai Namco Entertainment has launched a dedicated 20th-anniversary website, featuring the latest trailer, key visuals, and a comprehensive breakdown of all the news shared during the stream.
