Hot on the heels of their recent partner showcase, Nintendo has teased an Indie World Showcase.

The Nintendo Indie World Showcase is scheduled for the 7th at 10 PM (KST) via the official Nintendo YouTube channel. Spanning approximately 15 minutes, the presentation will spotlight a variety of indie titles arriving on the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Naturally, the rumor mill is spinning, with fans pinning their hopes on an appearance by Hollow Knight: Silksong. Since its initial reveal in 2019, Silksong has faced a series of delays and a frustrating lack of development updates, leaving the community in a state of perpetual longing.

However, just on the 1st, the developers at Team Cherry insisted that "the game is real, still in production, and will be released," bringing the title back into the spotlight. Given that in April, reports emerged suggesting Silksong would launch on the Nintendo Switch 2, speculation has only intensified that the game might finally show its face at this Indie World event.
