Webzen is currently scouting for applicants for its internship program, which is set to run for six months starting from January 2026.

On the 26th, Webzen announced that it has opened the doors for internship applications across its headquarters and various subsidiaries. You have until October 13th to submit your application via their official career portal. If you make the cut, you will be notified individually via email or SMS. Successful candidates will then navigate through online assessments, practical interviews, and executive interviews throughout December, with final results expected by the end of that month.

The application process is open regardless of age or academic background. Do keep in mind that for specific roles—such as global business—a solid grasp of foreign languages like English, Japanese, or Chinese is required. They are looking to fill spots across 45 different roles, including game operations, marketing, game design, development, technical support, and HR, with the final headcount currently marked as 'TBA' across the main firm and its subsidiaries.

Once hired, Webzen offers the same salary and benefits as their permanent staff. These perks include access to an on-site daycare, coding education for employees' children, financial support schemes, group insurance, welfare points, and travel grants for long-term staff. Should you prove your worth during the internship, there is a clear path to transitioning into a permanent role.

If you prefer the developer side of things, subsidiaries like Webzen RedCore, Webzen RedStar, Webzen Red&, and Webzen Crevix are also hunting for interns for their upcoming projects. Notably, Webzen RedCore and Webzen RedStar are busy crafting new MMORPGs powered by Unreal Engine 5.

Webzen RedCore recently launched R2 Origin in the domestic market on the 25th and is already eyeing international expansion. Meanwhile, Webzen RedStar is deep in development on a new title based on the MU IP. Webzen Red& and Webzen Crevix are also actively working on their own respective RPG projects.
