Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency will host the '2025 BRENA Best Player' corporate tournament at the Busan Esports Arena (BRENA) on November 8.

This corporate esports tournament, which began in 2018, marks its 8th anniversary this year. A total of 495 teams and 1,600 participants have competed to date, with various corporate teams such as LG Electronics, AfreecaTV, and the Busan Transportation Corporation participating every year.

The tournament features StarCraft (3 players per team) and League of Legends (5 players per team). A majority of the team members must be employees of the same company (at least 2 for StarCraft, 3 for League of Legends), and teams can be formed with employees from other companies as long as this condition is met.

Applications are open until October 28 via the official BRENA website. Following online qualifiers, the offline finals will take place on November 8. The final match is open to the public and will be livestreamed on the official BRENA YouTube channel.

Kim Tae-yeol, President of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, stated, "The national corporate esports tournament has established itself as a representative amateur esports event that goes beyond a simple hobby, sharing teamwork and passion. As highly skilled corporate players are participating, we expect fierce competition. We will continue our efforts to expand the base of grassroots esports."

'BRENA Best Player' is the arena's premier amateur esports brand, hosting four events annually. This year, a total of 96 teams and 428 players participated in the youth (July) and university (September) divisions. Following the corporate tournament, a general division tournament is scheduled for December.
