Nexon has donated 100 million KRW, the proceeds from the special opening event of its permanent 'MAPLE AGIT' PC bang themed around the MapleStory IP, to the Seoul National University Hospital Nexon Children's Integrated Care Center, also known as Totori House, in the name of its users.

The special opening, which ran for 16 days from October 18 to November 2, celebrated the official launch of MAPLE AGIT by bringing in 21 creators who stepped behind the counter to interact with the community. Fans who secured their spots via pre-registration enjoyed a variety of activities and live-streamed collaborative sessions.

Nexon decided to donate the entirety of the event's proceeds to honour the spirit of the special opening as a festival for all MapleStory players. By combining revenue from ticket sales and refreshments, the cumulative views from the collaborative broadcasts, and a supplemental contribution from Nexon, a total of 100 million KRW was donated to Totori House under the name of the MapleStory user community.

Totori House, established through a collaboration between the Nexon Foundation, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Seoul National University Hospital, is the country’s first independent short-term medical care centre. It provides comprehensive medical and respite services for children with severe illnesses who require 24-hour care, offering families a much-needed break from the relentless burden of caregiving.

'Pangiyo', who represented the MapleStory community during the donation handover, stated, "We have successfully wrapped up the 16-day special opening event and delivered the 100 million KRW proceeds to Totori House. It is incredibly meaningful to have turned an event meant to thank our 'heroes' (users) into something that provides real help to so many, and I am deeply grateful to all our players."

Jung Hye-rim, head of Totori House, remarked, "Since our opening in 2023, Totori House has maintained a positive relationship with MapleStory. Thanks to this generous donation from the 'heroes', we can now provide an even more comfortable space for more children and their families. Located near Gangnam Station in Seoul, MAPLE AGIT is a permanent, 177-seat, 200-pyeong themed PC bang dedicated to the MapleStory IP. Following the initial 16-day pre-registration 'special opening' event which began on October 18, the venue has been open to the public without reservations since November 3.
