Netmarble announced that it will launch a 6.5th-anniversary festival update for its mobile RPG 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross' on the 20th for the Korean and Japanese servers. The update introduces a new UR-grade hero, 'Tristan', the 'Knight of Prophecy' and 'Light of Liones'. As the son of the series' protagonists Meliodas and Elizabeth, and a member of the 'Four Knights of the Apocalypse', Tristan is a Light/Dark attribute character capable of wielding both Goddess and Demon powers.

A new PvE content, 'Co-op Battle', is also being introduced. Players can form two decks and participate with up to four people, earning rewards based on damage dealt and contribution. To celebrate the update, Netmarble has prepared several events. First, a 'Jumping Box' event will be held, where players can collect 'Jumping Box Tickets' from gameplay to obtain materials for crafting and upgrading holy relics, as well as new heroes.

Players can acquire heroes such as 'Percival', the 'Little Hero of Unknown Magic', 'Queen Elizabeth', the 'Radiance of Protection', and 'Purgatory Meliodas', the 'Shackles of Curse' in an already powered-up state. Rewards such as 'LR Hero Selection Orbs' or '100 Legendary Seals' can also be obtained through the 'Light and Darkness Selection Box'. Additionally, a 'Special Survey Summon' event will be held to commemorate the 6.5th anniversary. Players can curate their own lineup from the new hero 'Tristan', five UR-grade heroes, and 15 SSR-grade heroes. Upon reaching 900 mileage, players can choose to obtain either the new hero 'Tristan' or one of the top five UR-grade heroes based on the voting results.

An attendance event will be held where players can receive up to 200 Diamonds over 28 days just by logging in. A special mission event will also be conducted, where clearing nine missions grants rewards such as 'Summon Tickets', 'Growth Materials', 'Jumping Box Tickets', and 'Hawk’s Secret Selection Box'. A 'Boss Parade' event will be operated, providing rewards after defeating event bosses. There is also a 'Grand Reward Dungeon' event where players can obtain Diamonds or 'Super Awakening Coins' and growth materials daily for two weeks. A 'Diamond Payback' event will also be active, allowing players to receive growth materials and an SSR-grade costume for 'Tristan' based on the amount of Diamonds spent.
