The slot machine roguelite 'Cloverpit' became so wildly popular that it spawned a swarm of cheap knock-offs on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Now, the official mobile version is finally being released.

Cloverpit, which officially launched in September, is a deck-building strategy roguelike. Players are trapped in a solitary room with a slot machine and must earn money to pay off their debts. If you fail to clear your balance within the deadline, you are cast into a dark abyss. Your goal is to survive as long as possible by using tickets to buy charms and boost the value of symbols while unraveling the secrets of the room.

Cloverpit has been receiving 'Very Positive' (90%) reviews on Steam for its unique gameplay and satisfying mechanics. Due to its popularity, fake apps posing as Cloverpit even appeared on the Apple App Store and reached the bestseller charts. Developer Panic Arcade stated, "This version of Cloverpit is not made by us, and we receive nothing from it. It is barely playable, so please do not buy it."

About three months after that incident, the official mobile version of Cloverpit has been announced. On the 10th, Panic Arcade stated, "Thanks to a brilliant porting team, the mobile version of Cloverpit will launch on December 17th. Now, there is nowhere to run, and your debts will pile up wherever you go." A hotfix for the hard mode update is also included.

However, whether the mobile version will officially launch in the domestic market remains uncertain. Currently, the mobile version is listed for a December 17th release on overseas Apple App Stores, but it cannot be found on the domestic App Store or Google Play Store. Pre-registration pages are also inaccessible in Korea. Since the US App Store version indicates support for the Korean language and the game is rated for adults, it is possible that it is currently undergoing local regulatory review.
