SmartNow is conducting a closed beta test for its PC and mobile cross-platform MMORPG, 'Joseon Hyeopgaekjeon Classic,' from the 18th to the 23rd via OneStore and the official game lounge.

'Joseon Hyeopgaekjeon Classic' inherits the legacy of the original title, which featured pixel-art graphics. Over the course of three years of development, the team has redesigned the graphics, systems, and combat structure, reinterpreting the original identity to suit a modern environment.

This closed beta test is open to everyone via the OneStore mobile version and the official lounge PC version. The game maintains the core of the original, where players become knights to defend Joseon during the Imjin War, while the gameplay flow and combat structure have been improved for a more strategic experience.

While respecting the retro aesthetic, the game provides controls and a UI optimized for the PC environment and is designed with a cross-platform structure in mind. Users who participate in the post-test survey will be entered into a draw to win chicken gift vouchers and 10,000 in-game cash.

SmartNow stated, "We are accelerating development with the goal of bringing back the excitement of those days while creating an MMORPG that is sufficiently fun by modern standards," adding, "As 'Joseon Hyeopgaekjeon Classic' is a game we are completing together with our users, we ask for your diverse feedback through this closed beta test."
