NEXON has rolled out a fresh raid, 'Battle! Dragon Palace', for its original title 'The Kingdom of the Winds Classic' hosted within the MapleStory Worlds platform.

It is a cooperative raid where you must thwart the rebellious 'Prince Cheong' and safeguard the Dragon King. Designed for parties of 5 to 10 players, you have until January 21st to reap a generous haul of experience points by successfully defending the King once per day.

The raid boss, 'Prince Cheong', doesn't fight alone—he summons a variety of henchmen and Dragon Palace generals as his health dwindles. You'll need to strategically deploy grimoires and summoning scrolls dropped by these minions to protect your allies or unleash devastating finishing moves.

Should things turn south, you can call upon the 'Turtle General', a loyal subject of the King, to tip the scales in your favour. The higher the Dragon King's remaining HP upon completion, the better your loot.

From now until January 21st, there is a weapon rental event to assist your grinding. You can borrow a torch that upgrades daily up to tier 7, after which you are free to pick whichever tier of weapon suits your fancy.

During this same window, daily and weekly mission events are active. Simply hunt monsters appropriate for your level to bank some serious experience. Furthermore, if you pick and complete 3 out of the 15 limited quests available, you will be rewarded with bonus XP based on the difficulty.
