PAN STUDIO released the 1.1 major update, 'Song of Wind and Clouds: Part 1,' for their action RPG 'Duet Night Abyss' on the 23rd. This update introduces a new region and an expanded main story, alongside the official launch of the PC version on Steam.

First, the new region 'Huaxu' is now open. Players will explore areas such as Yanjin Ferry and the Chulong Altar, marking a new chapter in the Duet Night Abyss lore. The Huaxu region features a more realistic art style with refined textures and lighting effects compared to previous areas.

Additionally, new characters 'Busu' and 'Gakju' have been introduced. Busu is a water-element healer who uses blade whips and a bow, while Gakju is a light-element character capable of wielding all weapon types. Both characters feature dedicated story content, 'Collection of Time,' which deepens the narrative experience.

Various event contents are also being updated. Events such as the login event 'Shadow of Apricot Blossom,' the regional tie-in 'About the Scent of Huaxu,' the immersive theatrical content 'Busu,' the multiplayer event 'Luna's Special Theater,' and the challenge-based 'Proof of the Soul Bird' will be held sequentially. Gakju-focused content and the competitive event 'Towards the Peak' are also scheduled to be added later.

The Huaxu version significantly expands shop and cosmetic content. A new 'Entangled Heart' package has been added to allow players to acquire characters at a discounted rate. Simultaneously, limited-time costumes, including swimsuit and cheongsam-themed outfits for Busu, have been added, along with new weapon skins, display animations, and effect cosmetics.

During the 'Song of Wind and Clouds: Part 1' period, players who log in will receive a cheongsam-themed character costume selection package via in-game mail, with further content to be released in phases.

Improvements to the play environment have also been implemented. Multiplayer zones have been added throughout Yanjin Ferry, and a multiplayer display interaction feature has been introduced. Furthermore, a day/night system has been added, and character lighting and material effects have been optimized. The mobile version features improved anti-aliasing and rendering, while both PC and mobile versions have been optimized for rendering quality, lighting effects, and memory usage to provide a more stable experience.

Alongside the 'Song of Wind and Clouds' update, the Steam version will be officially released soon. Additionally, winners of the official fan art contest will be showcased on official social media channels, and community engagement activities will be further strengthened.
