Shepherd of the Dark Diene, who emerged as a pivotal figure in the episode added to Epic Seven last December, has now officially joined the roster.

Smilegate announced on the 2nd that they have updated Epic Seven with the new Moonlight hero 'Shepherd of the Dark Diene' and launched New Year commemorative events. This update introduces the new character alongside New Year events that offer various in-game items through energy consumption and mission completion.

The new Moonlight hero, Shepherd of the Dark Diene, is a country girl who, after a chance encounter with a black wolf in the woods, struck a deal with Noias, the 'Spirit Lord of Darkness'—the first of its kind to appear in centuries. Driven by admiration for the hero 'Aki' and a strong sense of duty, she sets out to save the world, only to witness her journey drift into increasingly grotesque and twisted territory. In battle, she appears as a 5-star Moonlight Dark-element Mage, characterized by an offensive playstyle that utilizes her 'Immortal' status.

Her key skills include 'Red Claw,' which inflicts Rupture and guarantees a critical hit; 'Noias’s Guidance,' which grants Immortality for 1 turn at the start of battle, and when anyone uses Soulburn, she clears her own debuffs and removes all buffs from the enemy team while granting herself 3 turns of Immortality and increasing her Combat Readiness by 35%; and 'Endless Darkness,' which seals all enemies for 2 turns and decreases their Combat Readiness by 30%. Diene possesses high potential as a powerful controller, capable of ignoring enemy Effect Resistance while in her Immortal state.
