Smilegate announced on the 9th that Epic Seven has been updated to include the new hero Aki. As the protagonist of the ongoing side story 'Elegy of the Fallen Embers', Aki is deeply entwined with the lore of 'Diene, Shepherd of Darkness'.

Known as the 'Contractor of Fire', Aki wields flames awakened by the power of the eclipse and shares a tangled fate with Diene, the spirit king's contractor. As a 5-star Fire-element Warrior, Aki is built for aggression. Aki excels at inflicting Burn effects and detonating them for significant burst damage. The third skill, 'Flame of Karma', strips all buffs from foes and applies Defense Down to maximize damage output. The second skill, 'Returning Light', sacrifices health recovery and damage sharing to provide a massive boost to Attack stats.
