Smilegate is rolling out the red carpet for indie developers, hosting its own awards ceremony via its gaming platform, 'STOVE'.

On the 15th, Smilegate announced the arrival of the '2025 STOVE INDIE AWARDS'. The event celebrates the titles that graced the platform over the past year, featuring a mix of official nominations and plenty of opportunities for you, the players, to get involved.

A total of 21 nominees have been shortlisted, showcasing a rather eclectic mix of genres. The lineup includes 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33', 'Artis Impact', 'Eternal Strands', 'Dark Deity 2', 'Contract x Love', 'French Connection', 'Platina Lab', 'Storm Maid', 'A Cup of Love Please!', 'Drovah: Forsaken Kin', 'Yog-Sothoth's Garden', 'Gundog: Solar System Story', 'Hospital x Life', 'Witch's Garden', 'Flower Dungeon', 'Hayo's General Store', 'Who's at the Door', 'Alleyway: Ghost Trace', 'Solitude Broadcast', 'Gwi-Gwi-Sal-Jeon', and 'Doom's Hair Salon'.

You can have your say in picking the winners for specific categories. Titles in the 'Heart-throbbing Subculture', 'Best Localizer', 'Best Alliance', and 'Creator Spotlight' categories will be determined by user votes. Meanwhile, the 'Frontier' and 'STOVE Ambassador' awards will be decided through an internal jury process.

To ensure these titles get the attention they deserve, STOVE is running a promotional campaign until the 25th. You can grab a 15% discount coupon for each of the 21 nominated titles, and there is also a 10% coupon available daily for any game on the STOVE store. Just keep in mind that these coupons cannot be stacked during the event. There are also community comment events running for the nominees if you feel like sharing your thoughts.
