Publisher Cometsoft has announced the start of pre-orders for the physical editions of 'BlazBlue Entropy Effect X' on Nintendo Switch and PS5. Developed by 91Act, this title is a spin-off of Arc System Works' 'BlazBlue' series. The official release date for BlazBlue Entropy Effect X is February 12th.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect X is a stylish roguelite action game, featuring 2D visuals and responsive controls based on precise action logic. Players can control 14 characters from the 'BlazBlue' series, each with their own unique combat style. Combat is enhanced by a combination of over 100 potential abilities and various elemental effects.

Players participate in research within an otherworldly space called 'The Lab' to save a world on the brink of destruction. The project lead, 'Dr. Mercurius', warns of the impending apocalypse, and the protagonist, 'Ace', repeatedly dives into the 'Sea of Possibilities' to save the world. Through this process, the memories flooding Ace's mind and the truth behind the crumbling world are revealed. The original voice cast from the series has returned to voice the characters in the game.
