Webzen announced on the 26th that it has updated R2 Origin with new 'Potential' growth content. Through this update, players can unlock character seals to enhance their stats. Along with this, various content changes have been introduced, including a revamp of personal missions and the addition of a new special dungeon.

The new 'Potential' growth content allows players to break seals using in-game currency. Once a seal is opened, players can acquire additional stats, including base character stats and various attribute bonuses such as Creature, Undead, Demon, and Human. This provides a new direction for character growth, adding more depth to the gameplay.

Furthermore, the personal mission system has been revamped. The tasks and reward structures for daily, weekly, and monthly missions have been adjusted, and materials required for unlocking Potential are now provided as additional rewards upon mission completion. Additionally, a new hunting ground, 'Valefor Dungeon 3F', has been added, accessible via the special dungeon menu. This dungeon offers a higher difficulty experience with powerful monsters and improved rewards.

User convenience has also been improved. The maximum number of guilds that can be designated as hostile has been expanded, and a combat effect range setting has been added. Additionally, the stats of some Transcend-grade Servants have been buffed, and new Hanbok cosmetic skins have been added, broadening the options for character appearance.

Meanwhile, Webzen is hosting various events to commemorate this update.
