Smilegate Hope Studio announced on the 4th that it teamed up with NX3 Games, the developer of Lord Nine, to deliver coal briquettes to those in need. This activity was part of Hope Studio's volunteer program, 'HEALing,' and was carried out under the name 'Lord Nine Warmth Supply Quest.'

The volunteer work took place on the 27th at Namtaeryeong Jeonwon Village in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The village is densely packed with aging residential buildings, and many elderly residents who are basic livelihood security recipients are in desperate need of energy support for heating and cooking during the winter. Kim Hyo-jae, a producer at NX3 Games, along with 41 employees, visited 10 households to personally deliver 2,500 coal briquettes. A total of 11,111 briquettes were donated through this initiative.

The funds for this volunteer activity were raised by Smilegate Megaport, the publisher of Lord Nine. Smilegate Megaport generated the donation through the sales of the in-game package 'New Year Warmth Delivery Box,' and the funds were delivered to the Babsang Community Welfare Foundation to purchase the briquettes.

Producer Kim Hyo-jae stated, "It was a deeply meaningful time to deliver warmth to our elders on-site with my colleagues," adding, "The Lord Nine development team will continue to practice the value of coexistence both inside and outside the game and engage in activities that provide tangible help to our neighbors in need."
