Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, a titan of the AI industry, continues to make waves. Now, reports suggest he's set to meet with NC's own Kim Taek-jin.

Chosun Ilbo reported on the 2nd that Huang is scheduled to meet with Kim on the 7th in Seoul. Huang is also slated for a dinner with LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Euisun, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin on the 5th. The meeting with Kim is speculated to be a separate engagement.

Huang has consistently shown a keen interest in South Korea's gaming sector. Speaking at the Nvidia GeForce Gamers Festival Seoul last October, he remarked, "Korea created esports and made PC gaming a global phenomenon." He added, "Nvidia started with PC gaming, and without PC gaming, PC bangs, and esports, Nvidia wouldn't be where it is today."

NC and Nvidia are already collaborating closely in the gaming space. Nvidia's DLSS 4,5 graphics enhancement technology is being integrated into NC's upcoming TPS, 'Cinder City,' and NC's games have also been showcased at Nvidia's booth during international expos like Gamescom.

Analysts are suggesting that the meeting between Huang and Kim could lead to discussions on 'Physical AI' collaboration. A key objective of Huang's current visit to South Korea is to identify partners in the 'Physical AI' domain – systems that perceive the real world via sensors, make judgments, and then perform actions in the physical world using actuators like robotic arms or wheels.

NC operates its own AI development subsidiary, NC AI, and on the 31st of last month, signed an MOU with Posco DX for joint development and technical cooperation on robot foundation models. The goal is to implement a robot foundation model by combining Posco DX's robot simulation control technology with NC's AI models, signalling NC's move into the Physical AI market.

The industry is keenly watching whether the meeting between Huang and Kim will progress to the discussion phase for establishing an actual Physical AI collaborative relationship.
