Look, Niantic has finally let the cat out of the bag. On the 5th, they announced that Monster Hunter Now Season 10, titled 'Voltage of the Dragon Light Piercing the Burning Night', is set to launch on the 18th. This season brings the Stygian Zinogre and Shogun Ceanataur to the field, alongside the Dimensional Variant monster Bazelgeuse. Once you've cleared the specific urgent quests, you'll be running into these Dragon-element Stygian Zinogre and Water-element Shogun Ceanataur out in the wild, and you can even pin them with the Monster Tracker to make your grinding a bit more efficient.

Naturally, the gear crafted from these beasts comes with five shiny new skills: Elemental Attack Boost [SP], Partbreaker [Tail], Slicing Ammo/Elemental Slicing Ammo Boost, Dragon Attack Boost/Stagger, and High Charge [Water]. It’s a solid set of options if you’re looking to tweak your build for maximum carnage.

During the Season 10 launch event, that pesky Bazelgeuse—usually an unexpected guest—will be roaming the field regularly, making it much easier to farm those materials. Weapons made from Bazelgeuse parts are designated as 'Period 1 Interception Special Weapons', giving you a nice bonus to your Interception Points during Fortress Interception battles. Oh, and they’ve added a handy feature that lets you scope out your friends' Interception Points and the gear they were rocking when they hunted, which should make co-op play feel a lot more social.
